What we are trying to do
Aquarium gear is easier to choose when the recommendation starts with the tank rather than the product. We organize guides around water volume, livestock, flow, temperature, maintenance and the specific problem the equipment needs to solve.
How recommendations are researched
We review manufacturer documentation, product families, common aquarium use cases and the trade-offs that matter after installation. We compare fit, adjustability, maintenance, replacement needs and limitations. We do not claim hands-on testing unless a guide explicitly states that a product was physically tested by AquaGearLab.
Updates and corrections
